Here are the tips on what to bring to buy a car:

Your Driver's License 

This is the most important thing to bring to the dealership so that the staff member attending to you knows that you are a licensed driver. The driver's license also serves as identification for your form of payment.

Rebate Eligibility Documents

A good rebate will go a long way, so take advantage of a college student or graduate rebate, or a military rebate. Be sure to bring along those documents that way you can see a difference in your monthly payment for your new Honda model.

Form Of Payment 

This is a crucial tip on what to bring to buy a vehicle because you will want to have your payment ready in a check, cash, or a loan format. Be prepared to have a down payment ready at the dealership. If you are taking out a loan with the dealership, you will need to fill out the paperwork.

Current Vehicle Registration For Trade-In 

If you are trading in your vehicle, you will need a copy on hand of your current registration. Find the document, be sure that the registration is current, or check that the proper sticker is located on the license plates.

Proof Of Car Insurance 

You can call ahead and set up the new insurance policy, or you can call from the dealership and give the vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle to your preferred insurance agency. Your insurer can fax or email an insurance card to the dealership. We recommend planning ahead before you stop by to purchase your new Honda model.
